We collect only what the website needs to respond, operate and receive support.
This notice explains what happens to information submitted through the ACAIF website. It reflects the current production architecture and is written to be practical rather than legalistic.
Enquiries
What we collect
When you use the enquiry form, ACAIF receives the name, work email, organisation, stakeholder category, message and page address that you submit. The information is used to understand and respond to the enquiry.
Retention
How long enquiry information is kept
Accepted enquiries are stored in ACAIF's Cloudflare infrastructure for up to 90 days. Each submission receives a unique reference so it can be traced if an email notification fails. Records expire automatically after the retention period.
Membership payments
Stripe handles payment information
The membership page uses Stripe's hosted Buy Button and checkout. ACAIF's website does not receive or store payment card numbers. Payment information entered into Stripe is handled under Stripe's own systems and privacy practices.
Service providers
Infrastructure used by the website
Cloudflare hosts the public website, Worker runtime and enquiry storage. Resend is used to send enquiry notifications. Stripe provides the hosted membership payment interface. These services process only the information required for the relevant website function.
Security
How the form is protected
The enquiry form uses server side validation, same origin checks and a hidden spam trap. Secrets used by the website are kept outside the public browser code. ACAIF intentionally does not make a missing CAPTCHA or security widget a condition for legitimate submission.
