Why this work matters
The most important choices are being made inside businesses, institutions and labour markets now. ACAIF brings together people who can shape those choices before job loss, exclusion or loss of dignity become accepted as an unavoidable cost of progress.
The work is practical. It connects research and public debate to entrepreneurs, employers, institutions and people whose livelihoods are already exposed to rapid technological change.
Three fronts of action
ACAIF's jobs agenda concentrates on three places where action now can materially influence whether AI widens or narrows human opportunity.
We work with entrepreneurs building businesses where AI increases capability and productivity, while growth by design creates more work for people. The ambition is not to preserve every old task. It is to build companies whose expansion creates new demand for human judgement, service, relationships, care, execution and trust.
We work with businesses and institutions reconsidering how their operations change with AI. The question is how productivity gains can expand output, service and scale, creating room to reskill, redeploy and retain people in work where human contribution remains essential.
We work with individuals on the front line of AI driven change to help them upskill, reskill and reposition before their existing work disappears. The focus is practical relevance: moving human capability toward work where discernment, accountability, empathy, context and trust still matter.
